How can I determine what sizes (dimensions) I should upload my images for for cover images, inside posts, etc. so everything looks correct on an ongoing basis? Thank you!

There are usually demos out there of themes. Just open the images that are used in the demo and take note of their sizes.

For example, my theme, Nimbus, uses 1200x628 for the blog images: https://demo.bluditlab.com/theme/nimbus ... ulla-augue

You're free to use whatever size you want, but that's what the demo shows, so likely what users "should" use if you want the same results.

I see what you're saying. I looked at your demo and it looks like it's the same image for the thumbnail of the cover image too. Is that how all Bludit themes work?

I switched to your theme and the no-image.png file is 1200x600 so that's probably the correct size?

here you have all the image sizes social media sites use: https://socialsizes.io/.
based on that it's easy to figure out the best size for cover images is 1920 x 1080 with 960x540 being the size of thumbnails. Works everywhere most of the time :)

Thanks for the reply, however I am not so much concerned with social media image sizes as I am the image sizes for the theme itself so everything lays out nicely.
