We recently upgraded our server to PHP8 (8.0.28) and our Bludit site is crashing with 500 error now.
Is there a quick fix for this? Do we need to upgrade to newer version?? Our Bludit was installed in 2019. (I'm not sure what version it is, is there a way to find that somewhere in the system files?)
Do I need to set up a VM running PHP 7 and install site backup, to export old content?
Please advise, thanks...

The latest stable release v3.14.1 works with PHP 8.
The version number can be found in the file init.php in the directory /bl-kernel/boot.

thanks for the confirmation!
It's all good now
I installed a fresh instance of latest BLUDIT 3.14.1 , enabled all the plugins i could remember ( last install was 2019!!) and then simply copied over the old content to the content folders.
Perfectly restored! I shall be keeping a closer watch on this in the future. I really like BLUDIT, it's very easy for my non-techie friends to deal with editing. I won't hesitate to buy the Pro version when the need arises...

I've just updated to Bludit 3.15.0 and was hoping it would now work with php8.2, but alas no .. getting a 500 error when I try to save any content. I had to revert to 8.1. Any ideas?

I use PHP 8.2 and I have no problems.
(My installation is NOT an upgrade)
