How to backup Bludit without using the plugin?
I've decided the Backup plugin is broken and useless. It used to work for me, but now I get various HTTP error 500 messages when I try to create a backup, and instead of the backup being 250 MB the backups are only 7 MB, which means the backup is failing. My old web host couldn't help me. I increased the PHP memory limit but that didn't fix it. I have now changed web hosts and done a clean install of Bludit Pro and the plugin. It still doesn't work. I'm ready to give up on it.
But I still need to backup my blog everyday. What do I need to backup? What folders? The entire installation? I need to find a way because I've wasted hours trying to get the plugin to work and I need to move on.
Thanks!

Some hosters allow to run backups in the admin area of the hosting.
You also can download the directory /bl-content.
A little bit advanced would be the use of a script on the server.
Please mail me a ZIP archive of your directory bl-content to try to reproduce the problem.
