Whenever I write an article or change the settings on the site, an error_log file is generated.

Code: Select all

[04-Feb-2023 18:49:15 Europe/Istanbul] /home/.../public_html/bl-content/workspaces/simple-stats/*.log
[04-Feb-2023 18:49:17 Europe/Istanbul] /home/.../public_html/bl-languages/*.json
[04-Feb-2023 18:49:49 Europe/Istanbul] /home/.../public_html/bl-languages/*.json
[04-Feb-2023 18:56:42 Europe/Istanbul] /home/.../public_html/bl-languages/*.json
[04-Feb-2023 18:56:45 Europe/Istanbul] /home/.../public_html/bl-content/uploads/pages/7e2e304254321c74b9aa1f65b2bd8815/thumbnails/*.*
[04-Feb-2023 18:56:49 Europe/Istanbul] /home/.../public_html/bl-languages/*.json
[04-Feb-2023 18:56:49 Europe/Istanbul] /home/.../public_html/bl-languages/*.json
What is the reason for this, is there a solution?

It seems that this is the normal log file. What's the name of the file? Where is it located?

In the site home directory. I turned off the simple-stat plugin. I don't use cover art in my articles. Despite this, the error_log file is created and sometimes this file is extremely bloated.

I had the exact same issue (on a shared hosting web server). I resolved it by switching to another version of PHP, then switching back. The error log entries have now disappeared.
