Is there something like a calendar plugin?

I want to build a website with the following feature:
Visitors can navigate on a certain page with a calendar.
On this page the visitor can choose a day in a form and can send a request to book those day.
I will get a notice (via email for example) to check and apply this.
Then I mark this day as booked so no one else can send a request for this particular day.
Is there already a plugin which can do that?
Eventually there is a calendar plugin on which I can build this functionality on top?
