Bludit Community Support Forum

Hi,

I am trying out Bludit as a nicely judged solution for the website I wish to build. However, I am hoping for a straightforward way to add media (both video and audio), and it seems that the "Media+" plugin would be the ideal solution.

I gather it is no longer available from source, but that you can supply it on request. Are you able to let me have a copy?

I would also be interested in "More Levels", which I gather is in the same position.

Depending on what you will do, there is no need for an additional plugin.

The Media+ plugin does what I want (embedding uploaded audio files) quite nicely. I'm not sure how else I'd do that within Bludit.

Being old and unsupported though, it sadly that it has some limitations. In particular it doesn't recognise .m4a files (containing aac codec) as being audio - it thinks they are video. I replaced them with .opus files, which work fine, though the type used for them is "audio/ogg".

My first message here.
I discovered Bludit few days ago because I was looking for a good CMS for my wife's website. And Bludit is the perfect solution for her.

But, to simplify a maximum her user experience, I tried to install the plugin Media. So, I downloaded it from the website of arakel2 (Media V. 0.2.1 - Beta) . But, unfortunately I can't activate it on my installation.
I would like to how if a solution exists to fix this problem. Thank!

So, I answer to my self. I found the issue. My server was in PHP 8.0. I downgraded it in version 7.4 and now I can activate the plug-in.

Beta? I can send you the plugin Media+ v0.2.1. Perhaps this works with PHP 8.
