I used the recovery.php file to recover the password since the one I had wasn't working.

Here is the message I get: "Bludit Password Recovery Tool JSON file corrupted."

The users.php file is empty.

Is there any way I can get in again as the admin?

Is it a new installation or does the password no longer work?

It is on a site that has been live for 6 months. For some reason, the admin password I have isn't working, so I tried the recovery method and no luck.

1) Restore the file users.php in the directory /bl-content/databases from a backup.

2) Or make a new installation (for example in a subdomain) and transfer the file users.php.

3) Or proceed as follows:

viewtopic.php?p=2996#p2996

For some reason, didn't have a backup, but did a quick install (thanks to Softaculous) in a sub directory and then copied the file over. Super duper easy!

Thanks for the help!
