Hellow,

"Reactions" is one of my plugins from 2019, which received a big update a few days ago. The Plugin itself allows your readers to react to your content, using Emojies, 3- or 5- Stars or a Like (and optional Dislike) button. The made user votes gets stored within the SESSION to prevent multiple votes from the same user, so it is fully GDPR compatible.

This plugin also received a "Plus" supporter package, which allows you to store the user votes as own Cookie or directly on your server. For European users you are also able to define a Cookie Key (and optional a Cookie Value), which must be present before any storage happens (If you're using any kind of "Accept Cookie" message / system). Next to them the plus package also logs each vote and shows them as widget on the admin dashboard.

Features
  • Three different rating modes
  • Eight ways to inject the panel on your template
  • Active Bot Protection rules
  • AJAX enabled rating (vote without reload the page)
  • Bunch of settings to configure the panel to your needs
  • Session Storage of the users votes
  • GDPR compatible

Features on Reactions+
  • Log all done Votes and Changes & Show them on your Dashboard
  • Cookie-Storage, keep the users votes until the cookie gets eaten
  • Hashed-IP-Storage, keep the users votes until your server gets eaten
  • An additional Cookie Key/Value Handler to fulfil GDPR rules

Hi, thank you for new plugin.
I wan't to request a feature.
On previous Reactions there was a better smooth design.
Could we make a switch for rollback to that exact design?
Thank you.

Hello,

I’ll add the old design back in the upcoming update as additional option.

Thanks for the feedback.

Sincerely,
Sam.

Thanks Sam, till then I'm disabling reactions plugins.
I noticed that if page type changed or sometimes edited, all the reactions are getting purged.
Hope this fix did come with the update.
:)
