Just installed the 3.9.2 as a new install.
I got an error first time I went to mydomain/install.php telling me I needed at least PHP 5.6, so I went to my settings for my domain and upgraded from "native" (that was 5.4 apperantly) to 5.6.

Tried install.php one more time and it seemed to work.
I used English language, klicked OK, then chose my Password and hit OK (or continue) and then everything went blank!

Nothing shows at all. No errors no nothing.

If I try again and go to mydomain/install.php it says: "Bludit is already installed ;)"

It seems that mod_rewrite is not enabled on your server.

I have had Bludit 3.x.x installed before though, (under PHP 5.4) but I uninstalled it and continued with an older version since I didn't find any templates that suited me.

Where can I find settings for this mod_rewrite?
I can't find anything like that in my PHP-settings or as a box to check in my PHP-Extensions

Can you please set to PHP 7.1 or 7.2 and try with a fresh installation.

Changed PHP version to 7.2
Fresh Install Bludit 3.9.2 "Porter"
Installing....................

Same result.
After I chose language and wrote a password and clicked OK, all turns white. ;(

Edit: I tried Bludit 3.8.1 "APA" - that one works fine to install so it's somewhere after that I get problems
Edit2: Just confirming: Fresh install 3.8.1 is the last one that installs and runs as it should

Thank you for the details.

Is the installation in a root directory or a subdirectory?

It's sub directories, but I can try and install it in the absolute root as well (just have to backup the stuff that's lying there right now) :)

I'll report back in 15!

Edit: I work fast
Installing 3.9.2 in the root worked absolutely fine (for reasons I don't understand, so if you like you could elaborate :))!

Really don't want it in the root though... :/

Ok - It's friday, a long week at work is over - let's just bury this issue six feet under and forget about it :)

Downloading and installing 3.9.2 (fresh) using the "pinkish" download link here => https://www.bludit.com/ = blank page after I set my pwd in both sub and root. (maybe this link is just for upgrading or something just is faulty with that one?)

Downloading and installing 3.9.2 (fresh) from github works as a charm both in root and subdirectory
