Thanks, but it didn't help. Even for existing pages, the author "admin" hasn't changed. And even for newly created pages - in its settings - Options - Advanced - it's still fixed to "admin" and you can't change it...

Oh sorry, I thought you talk about the frontend view.
The "tweak" I suggested before is to display nickname instead of username on the site frontend.
While on the site admin (backend), that Options > Advanced > Author will display the username, and it is better to leave it that way.
If you want to have other name as the author then you need to create another user and login with that account.
