Good photo gallery plugin?
If you're looking for a photo gallery plugin for Bludit, here are a few popular options:
Simple Gallery: A straightforward plugin that allows you to create galleries by adding images to a folder. It’s lightweight and easy to use, perfect if you need a basic gallery setup.
Justified Gallery: This plugin arranges photos in a visually appealing, justified layout. Great for photographers or portfolios, as it automatically resizes images to maintain alignment.
Lightbox Gallery: Adds a lightbox effect to your images, so users can click to view them in a larger overlay. It’s a nice option if you want a clean way for users to browse images.
Gallery Pro: A more advanced option that offers customizable layouts, captions, and sorting options. It’s suitable if you’re looking for more control over the gallery’s appearance.
You can find these plugins and others on the Bludit Plugins Repository. Check them out to see which best fits your needs!

Let's Get Wordpress GPL
I’d recommend checking out SimpleGallery. I’ve used it with Bludit before, and it’s straightforward to set up and does the job for basic galleries without slowing your site down. It’s not overly fancy, but if you just need something clean and functional, it’s worth a look. If you’re after more advanced features, you might need to tinker or explore other options.

Those are both solid recommendations. MonsterGallery covers most needs if you want more control over the admin side, as arfa mentioned.
Regardless of which plugin you end up choosing, one thing to look out for is how the gallery handles thumbnail generation. If you are uploading photos directly from a modern smartphone or downloading assets, they might be in WebP format. Depending on your server's PHP configuration and the specific plugin version, the system can sometimes struggle to auto-resize those formats or create the thumbnails correctly compared to standard JPEGs.
To avoid issues with broken thumbnails or plugins not detecting the files, I usually recommend standardizing your gallery images to JPG before uploading them to Bludit. I use https://webptojpghero.com to quickly switch any WebP files over to JPG first.
It is a good workflow habit because it ensures that if you ever decide to switch to a different gallery plugin in the future, your base images will be compatible with whatever new system you install."
