image file browse option missing in 3.16.2 MCE editor in free version
Not sure if this is deliberate (to push folks toward pro version) but here is the limitation:
The [set page cover] pane allows users to browse our devices to upload images--it does work.
The Tiny MCE editor for content (new pages or posts) has an image upload button that only references files already on the site, at a URL; for regular browse and upload it does not work.
This makes it hard to put multiple images in pages (or posts-- not clear what nomenclature you prefer).
So, please fix! Or please tell me "That is on purpose." Or please tell me, "you must use ftp to get files into the site and then link to them." Whatever is true. I suspect something got broken somewhere, because I can see other forum topics (and help videos) where the [browse] button seems to be working normally, linking to files on the user's device.
Thank you for making this marvelous software.
