How to add buttons to the text toolbar?

I work with some chemical formulas and I'd like to add a couple of buttons to the text toolbar: subscript <sub></sub> and superscript <sup></sup>
So when I write, I obrain this HTML:

How to add buttons to the text toolbar?

You can add the formatting as follows:
  1. open the settings of the editor TinyMCE,
  2. add "subscript" and "superscript" in the field "Toolbar top" or "Toolbar bottom" .
