Video upload fails?

Alls;
using bludit pro 3.16.2, I fail to manage uploading smaller video snippets (mp4 format, apprx 1.1mb size, no audio). Modified bludit so that the uploader and the admin frontend will accept these kinds of files. Upload does start, now, but will never finish. Blue progress bar is at 100% but I'll never see the file stored anywhere. Am on a shared webhoster so hard to debug what's happening below. Any ideas where to peek here?

You also can upload video files using FTP or the file administration of your hosting.

Did I miss anything in there? I'm looking for a solution to post random video snippets from the smartphone and I don't really have a good way or workflow for uploading those to FTP from there, so the idea was to use what Bludit has already built in.

Ah. On closer look it seems third-party documentation? I did what has been outlined here, exactly the way described in this document:

Any news, updates, ... on that, by the way? Really would like to go down that route.

(Kind of fixed this using surrounding infrastructure and Nextcloud. Not really a good choice but this is here anyway and I gave up on trying to solve this on Bludit directly.
