Hello all.
I like the idea of contributing something to the Bludit CMS. In this case, a logo development. Maybe, one of all these logos that have been made, could make it to Bludit 4.0 version. If the main-dev. is willing to change the current logo.
The current logo is nice. I associate it to something friendly, toony, a companion. So we can form the question: in which direction such a logo should go? Like now, its a friendly one. Should it go into something:
- toony
- serious
- technical
- abstract
- etc
Another things that pop up in my mind, are:
- why is the current logo a dog-face ?
- what is the background of Bludit ?
- Why is it named: Bludit ? Does it has a meaning ?
- Has the specific blue color a meaning ?
- etc
All this questions could be necessary for creating a new logo. We need to understand why some things are chosen the way they are.
I did a small logo design process. The variety goes from "traditional" (dog), abstract forms, to neutral creations. Further development usually goes this way, by defining a logo that works with 1 color (max 2x). When the selection of the logo gets more clear, next step can be the coloring (different colors / gradients / patterns / and so on).

Hey. Those were nice iterations. Have you made any new ones since then? Though I'm more into webdesign than graphic design, I really like the first logo as I prefer a minimalistic design. Today's world is heading toward simplicity due to the overwhelming flow of information, don't you agree?

Hi All,
I might be late here, but below is my contribution, if required I can share the Figma file of the logos or even I can improve if you provide your feedback. Thanks!
