I'm working on some projects for now.
And I would very much like to create a REGISTRATION panel.
In that case, just for permission to "author" role.

I read the documents and I did not find a practical way to do this because of the tokens. How should I do it? is there a way? It's really necessary for me.

you can copy the template of the login and create some register page and check the controller/view the "new-user", but you are going to need to make some changes on the core. I going to create a ticket on Github to keep it in mind the idea.
