Personally I find it a shame to use a third party system that does not know how long it will last in time, who exploit its data?

Bludit is without a database, I find it normal that the comments are an integral part of the blog.

I can watch when I have time to make a plugin, but I do not know when ...

I agree to Fred. I think a CMS should be independent from a third party system as far as possible. Of course, there could be options to use third party stuff, but only additionally.

Oh yes, good tip, I installed it for testing purposes, and it works quite well, as far as I can see.

I could recommend you Telegram's comments.app, very lightweight, customizable, doesn't sell data, login through Telegram, good shit ;)
Of course it depends if your users use Telegram and if it is convenient.

But we (other commenters and me) don’t want external services; no Disqus, no Telegram, no whatever. Just an independent commenting system, built into Bludit or as a plugin. Snicker is a good one, as far as I can see.
