I think there should be some self-defined link-options in the social media section. e.g. https://t.me/user for your telegram account.

It's not so easy because the icons come at the moment with the theme.

But you can also use the plugin Links.

And there is also the plugin Social Media Suite:

The fewer plugins, the better, if something happens by writing 2 lines of code, it doesn't make sense to do it with a plugin, but everyone decides for themselves.

It seems that the plugin is no longer available.
