Hello,
I'm new with Bludit and i'm impressed, really awesome work.
I have a webproject about dogzones in belgium https://dogvalley.be/ , it the moment it's a one-man project, and there is a lot of work planned (dogzones nearby, comments, adding share buttons, new design, better UX,...), but is really fun building this project.
It is also build with a simple flat file cms (Automad), the load-speed, simplicity and flexibility is really awesome, but i'm missing some options (user-roles).
About Bludit, i like the way, you can build/embed your own theme in an easy way and adding own code is not tricky. For a hobby-php-dev (WordPress-specialist) like me it is a nice 'toy' building nice things.
But i missing something or i can not find it how it works: made a custom field, but when trying the search-function on the front-end, it is not possible searching the content from the custom fields, is there a workaround how can search (specific) by the custom fields?
For my web-project, this is needed, when searching for the dogzones locations (lat, long), so i can adding custom fields for the coördinates.
Or is this planned in the next releases?

The custom fields are not searchable.ctuxboy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 11:02 am But i missing something or i can not find it how it works: made a custom field, but when trying the search-function on the front-end, it is not possible searching the content from the custom fields, is there a workaround how can search (specific) by the custom fields?
Instead you can use an external search engine.
This is much more than a search in custom fields. I suggest to make a list with all the requirements of the project and use a system with plugins that meet them. For my web-project, this is needed, when searching for the dogzones locations (lat, long), so i can adding custom fields for the coördinates.

Thanks for your answer and i understand what you mean.
When i start my project few months ago, not everything works out-of-the-box, but a (small) cms can really helps me for a good start, manage the content. The rest is the challenge i like it
I see some possibilities and opportunities building similar project with Bludit. I like the Bludit-concept, the way i can customize my own theme, without a 'hassle', so will give it a try, with some custom coding, see how far i can go
Sorry for my poor english.
