[question] howto 3-column layout
hi, and a happy new year to everybody
this is my first question.
would like to know how to make a static page with a 3-column layout, design whatever.
something like this:
= (title)
- (text)
# (image)
[======]
[-----------------------------------------------------]
[-----------------------------------------------------]
[-----------------------------------------------------]
[-----------------------------------------------------]
[-----------------------------------------------------]
[==========] [==========] [==========]
[----------------] [----------------] [----------------]
[----------------] [----------------] [----------------]
[----------------] [----------------] [----------------]
[----------------] [----------------] [----------------]
[##########] [##########] [##########]
how can this be done?
has anyone done this before?
can you show me some examples (url)?
with theme, backend, custom function, plugin or whatever...
thank you.

Using tables is not responsive. You can do this with floating boxes.
In the page you can use a code like this:
The properties of the columns are defined with CSS:
You have to "tune" this "raw" example! Or ask for details...
I plan to add a plugin for custom CSS in the next few days to the repository.
In the page you can use a code like this:
Code: Select all
<div class="column">
First Box
</div>
<div class="column">
Second Box
</div>
<div class="column">
Third Box
</div>
<div class="clear"></div>
Code: Select all
.column {
border: solid 1px #000;
float: left;
width: 200px;
}
.clear {
clear: both;
}
