Page slugs
It would be nice to have a bit of consistency in how slugs are done. pages in general thats a given but landing page should have index and blog should have blog (or $Language equivalent/whatever was added via panel) . this way it would be easy to build custom templates for main landing pages and blogs.

hint - nice addition to 2.2.3 :)
bludit plugins and themes - makeitblu | I do things, check them out on behance and dribbble.

What a landing page is depends of the definition. For example it could be a page when a website is opened with a redirect to the mainpage. Anyway, I think you mean the mainpage. If you want the slug "index" you can rename the friendly URL under "Advanced" when adding or modifying the content of the mainpage.

If you want the slug "blog" you can for example install Bludit in the directory /blog (and redirect from the root directory).

It makes no sense to add personal customizations to Bludit.
