Hello - I am using the Typerite theme.
In the footer there is a link to the developer StyleShout.
I wish to adjust the footer to my liking. I even purchased the theme via
StyleShout assuming I could do so but I was not aware that this concerns only a HTML theme.
Styleshout advises me to contact you (Bludit) for solving this.

Another Q is how to add pages in the Typerite theme?
In the default there is the about page, but how to add more that also appear in the menu?

The menu is displaying static pages, so once you set a page as static it should show up.

I am working with the Typerite theme and still have some issues

Categories
I can add items to the categories, but how to delete items?
Also de-activating the categories plug-in alltogether does nothing.

Read more
I can make a page break easy, but a link or button "read more" as shown in
your tutorials does not appear.

Fav icon
I changed in the bl-themes/typerite folder all 6 images for the fav icon but nothing
changes.

This has to do with your installation. Can you please give some more information about it (server software, PHP version etc.)? Are there any entries in the error log?

Try clearing the cache of the browser.

Hello support - following your advice I contacted my hoster and PHP version has been set from 5.6 to 7.3

I still have issues with categories plug-in as I cannot switch off categories.
Is a complete reinstall required?
Can I save my content?


Also I still cannot seem to adjust the Fav Icon.

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding... The plugin Categories and the management of categories as part of the core are separate things. What exactly do you mean with "switch off categories"?
