Theme skeleton
Hi,
I'm trying to build a really lightweight blog site. Is there a really basic theme I can modify to get started? All I want is single column with list of blog posts and maybe snippets with *read more* link, and then individual post pages with author, date, category and tags. I don't want to use any javascript or web fonts if it can be avoided, just provide my own css.
The Core theme looks the simplest. I'm just not clear if I need all of index, home, page files in the theme.

Try this one. It's almost finished theme so you have a couple of extra functions, if you want you can strip it to bare bones. Works on 3.6.1, you need to test it on other builds.
Great, thank you! I will check it out.bayerberg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 2:19 pm Try this one. It's almost finished theme so you have a couple of extra functions, if you want you can strip it to bare bones. Works on 3.6.1, you need to test it on other builds.
