Repository for File-Downloads

Post by CrazyBread » Fri Jul 21, 2017 7:05 am

Edit: I changed my description for more clearness. :)

On some of my pages (for example here: http://kez-neuhausen.de/babysitterservi ... sitterkurs)
I want to provide documents like pdf (docx, zip, etc.) to the visitors.
The current situation is that I have to create a complete markdown-link

Code: Select all

![Description](<Full path to pdf>)
I think a great improvement would be some kind of file or download manager like this one in the past:
https://www.phoca.cz/phocadownload
so that including a file would be as simple as including an image.

I think this would be also a great improvement.

just as images. Now I have to upload them via FTP and create a link manually with the full path.

I think this would be also a great improvement.
I think Diego deaktivated it. There seems to be al lot of problems with spam.

The forum has moved to another server. I have to check the settings.
Planet Bludit, Tipps, Snippets und nützliche Links.

I think he is talking about Bludit, and not about the forum.

Yes, sorry for the inaccuracy description.

I will open a new Thread in the new forum.

Edit: Is the Google-Group Forum closed again? Can anyone give me the new correct URL?

This is still the right forum...Edi managed the URL. The forum stays like it is.
Diego erased the google groups.

Here is the text from gitter chat:
Yes the forum is back an Edi now is running from his server and his is practical the owner. I deleted the Google Groups to not confused the people

Ah okay.

So here a little more precise description:

On some of my pages (for example here: http://kez-neuhausen.de/babysitterservi ... sitterkurs)
I want to provide documents like pdf (docx, zip, etc.) to the visitors.
The current situation is that I have to create a complete markdown-link
