You can add the formatting as follows:
  1. open the settings of the editor TinyMCE,
  2. add "subscript" and "superscript" in the field "Toolbar top" or "Toolbar bottom" .

Which plugins are installed? Have you tried it without the plugins? It could be that a plugin is not compatible.

Do you update an existing installation or make a fresh one?

I run Bludit with PHP 8.3.24 without any problems.
