When you say "If I inspect the code with my browser it seems to be looking for scss?", what do you mean? I really don't see how any browser could look for a "source" CSS file unless it's specifically mentioned anywhere ...

I've set a date in custom fields dd-mm-yyyy and when the calendar date reaches this date, the page will go to draft, instead of published. these are for various pages i create in bludit and different pages will have a different expiry date to go to draft. Is it always the "first page" on the front page that should exhibit this behavior, or is it "all pages"?

I assumed (wrongly, perhaps) that if I participate in a topic that I would always be notified of updates to it.

Have you looked at the code for "Admin" when a page is set to draft?

I had a calendar agenda widget on my phone that I wanted for Bludit, and so there it is. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement, features, or find something that needs fixing.

Not sure where the issue(s) is/are, I don't think I recognize them as something I have encountered. But have you taken a look at the bs5simplyblog theme? You may find (some) answers there.
