Re: UPDATED [THEME] Lingonberry (v2.0)
I think it was a simple matter of more things removed that it should've been inside the CSS. And maybe some changes to the layout itself.
I'd say this is "modified", rather than "improved". That's what I meant when I say it might be intentional.

Re: UPDATED [THEME] Lingonberry (v2.0)
I'm sorry, it's not unusable, it just doesn't look like Lingonberry anymore rather.Edi wrote: Sun Aug 06, 2017 11:26 pm What do you mean with barely usable? Are there any problems with the theme?
Maybe those changes are intentional?

Thank you, Diego. I'm still learning but this one worked very well so far on my end. I hope it works great for everyone else as well.

Re: UPDATED [THEME] Lingonberry (v2.0)
My port was more of a quick job since I just wanted it to run on my blog.
But it's good to see someone interested in it as well.
I wanted to see the improvements made and learn from them but what happened? The theme is barely usable and your blog seems to be gone as well.

You're welcome, Edi. It's always good to work on something with Bludit.
I have always to have this in Bludit and Lightbox unfortunately is not the for me.

Re: Theme w/o Google fonts
Better block everything in your robots.txt as well.
Download the fonts, upload them somewhere else or host it yourself. You only need to change one or a few lines inside the CSS file. My themes always have the fonts @import at the top of the CSS files.

Re: How do I... remove elements of a theme?
Making the sidebar fixed is possible but you will lose the responsive layout. You can make the sidebar "un-fixed" once it's in a smaller screen however.

Re: Should I be concerned that most plugins and themes are not confirmed compatible?
The "compatibility notice" was added long after many of the themes and plugins were made. Most of them are still working just fine, but having to update metadata.json every time a new version is out is quite troublesome.
I think we should allow it to read values like ">=1.5" so that every version ...

Re: Theme Ports Anyone?
I ported the Lingonberry sometime last year.
Still working perfectly on the latest Bludit version.

I planned to port more themes but things have gotten really busy since then.
