I tried to install Bludit after having upgrade to php 8 without success

Hello the community,

I am not a developer and I thought I could handle the installation but I am still at the first step.

Php is the version 8 but I still get the message: "Current PHP version 4.4.9, you need > 5.6."
4 hours ago the version was 4.4.9.

I have also tried like on the video for free hosting solutions...

I tried to comment the line in the initialisation file but I got other errors.

I try to install Bludit on OVH web hosting in France.

Also, I have read there are dependencies or php modules to install but I cannot find something understandable by a non developer. Any advice or tool that I could use to make the instal part really easy?

I tried the service https://alwaysdata.com/en/ but for security reasons my TrendMicro has a detected an attack so it does not work...

Can anyone help me?

Hello,

I tried other ways and I checked again and again Php version. It seems there was a bug, it was written PHP 8 and it was not the case.

This part is solved but now it is almost worst: after having uploaded the files through Net2ftp I can see them inside Net2ftp but not using Filezilla and the directory is empty...

It's just crazy to spend so much time just to install Bludit and the problem is not Bludit I think.

Is there anyone who can proproses me professional services to install Bludit? I think it will be far more effective. The idea is to install Bludit and to explain me the issues and how to solve them since I do not want to stay stupid all my life about this.

Otherwise i will have to go with Wordpress which is not what I want.

My antivirus is Bitdefender not Trendmicro
