Re: Sticky Post

[…]To Torsten, much better to use a sticky option than a paragraph you can add to the home.php because if you want to keep the sticky but just want the new one to list above it, you can keep the data otherwise, a paragraph on the home page would delete previous message. Yes, if you need more info t...

Re: Sticky Post

That would be a nice feature, in deed. But for a description that does not need to be exchanged like real sticky posts, a hard coded paragraph in /bl-themes/[your-theme]/php/home.php would do. You have to put it in front of the foreach loop.

Re: Forum Look & Usage

I like traditional forums very much, and I am glad they still exist, because they are much clearer than Facebook or Twitter – and, most important to me: they are self-hosted and are not in the hands of big companies or corporations, which control the markets.

Re: Different plugins in different sidebars/areas?

Finally I could solve my problem! https://forum.bludit.org/viewtopic.php?p=4630#p4630 Thank you so much, Edi, this works fine for me :D . Now I have a file php/about.php with the following code: <?php if( $plugins['all']['pluginAbout']->installed() ){ echo '<h3 class="plugin-label">'.$plugins['all']...

Re: Different plugins in different sidebars/areas?

<aside> <?php Theme::plugins('siteSidebar'); ?> </aside> This is the helper, right? It works, but will show every activated plugin. But I’d like to have the Navigation plugin in the horizontal navigation bar ( nav ), and the About plugin in an area below the main content ( aside ) – not all of the ...

Re: Different plugins in different sidebars/areas?

I don’t understand it. I have a PHP file about.php , and another, navi.php . If I put the following code into about.php, for example, it gives me an error like below: <?php // Class name of the plugin $className = 'pluginAbout'; // Get the Plugin-Object $plugin = getPlugin($className); Theme::plugin...

Re: Developed Menu CP

Edi has built a menu plugin: https://github.com/bludit-plugins/navigation. This might not be exactly what you need, but comes close, I think.

I agree to LRAM: in our modern times of HTML5, you don’t really need external video or audio players.

Re: Allow Static pages to have children.

I wrote a little improvement to Edi’s navigation plugin: The code recognizes, which page the user is currently on. Those currently visited pages can be highlighted in the menu via CSS. #$html .= '<li class="menu"><a href="'.$Parent->permalink().'">'.$Parent->title().'</a></li>'; $html .= '<li'.( ($P...
